Liam is a seasoned political strategist. A campaigns expert with more than 15 years’ experience in politics, latterly in a senior campaigns and management role.

Renowned for his strategic acumen, leadership skills and dedication, Liam played a pivotal role as Regional Director of the Labour Party, in charge of the north west of England. Liam’s tenure culminated in a general election victory, electing 63 Members of Parliament – more than any other region or nation within the United Kingdom.

Throughout his career, Liam has demonstrated an ability to navigate the intricate landscape of politics, leveraging his deep understanding of political systems, public sentiment, and stakeholder dynamics to drive impactful change. From grassroots organising to high-level campaign management, Liam has consistently delivered results that exceed expectations. Liam has an extensive contact base and a deep understanding of the Labour Party at national, regional, and local level.

Dougal has spent his career as a marketing and PR consultant in the built environment, advising leading developers and regeneration agencies for more than 30 years.

He is regularly called upon by leading supply chain partners and works with land-owners and strategic land businesses on major developments nationwide.

Before a successful sale, Dougal built his consultancy practice to become one of the largest in the north and during his time at the helm he had stints managing all three of the firm’s offices: Liverpool, Manchester and London. As a consequence, he built a strong network in the commercial property sector that spans the UK.

Dougal has an excellent grasp of the public affairs and policy issues governing development and long-standing relationships with the business media that serve the regeneration sector. Dougal’s network is extensive, constantly refreshed and at the disposal of all clients.

Dougal is a keen fly fisherman and member of Wyresdale Anglers. An Everton season ticket holder, he is also a Proprietor of The Athenaeum and lives with his family in south Liverpool.
