Merrion’s role
A project delivered by Dougal Paver in his earlier career, but worth mentioning, given its complexity and controversy. Dougal, with Rachel Smith, led a large team managing a lengthy public consultation to ascertain the public’s views of a new stadium on a corner of Walton Hall Park in a settled residential neighbourhood. The process involved securing the views of thousands of local people. The project was ultimately abandoned in favour of Bramley-Moore Dock.
