Merrion’s role
A proposal to convert a derelict pay-and-play 9-hole golf course on the edge of the Forest of Bowland National Landscape into an upmarket holiday lodge development comprising 130 lodges, 26 static caravans and a range of leisure infrastructure. Merrion managed the public consultation and political engagement, with the scheme securing unanimous backing from Preston City Council’s planning committee.
